I have a separate section of land next to my house suitable for parking or camping an RV or camper trailer that I was thinking of renting if there is anyone interested. It was used for a garden many years ago, but is now mostly a few small bushes and field grass. It has been partially cleared already and the rest will be done by Springtime.
For just $275 monthly (or $140 bi-weekly) you can use it as your vacation getaway! Would also make a great basic camping spot for a tent too, and for a lot cheaper than a campground would charge! Compare at $40 per night for campground fees or $3000-3500 for yearly seasonal lot fees...
You can also rent for shorter times at $75 per week/weekend or $25 per night!
There are no hook ups, so your RV or trailer would need to be self sufficient. My house does have outside outlets and a long outside extension cord, if some power is needed (at an extra charge for power usage). Also, there is NO front driveway access, so you would need to drive or pull your camper across the front corner of my lawn to set it up on my land next door and then leave it there for your stay, which is why preference is given more to long term renters of 2-3 months or more.
The nearby town has a free fresh water station for your water needs, as well as black water dumping & propane refilling at the local Irving, so all your needs should be covered.
If you are someone who typically pays for outside winter storage for your RV or Camper, then we can arrange for you to simply keep it on the property after the season is over at a reduced rate of only $1650 for the ENTIRE year. Save money on storage or lot fees!!
Or, if your camper is heated & insulated, then stay all winter too!!
I live near the coast with a boat launch just 30 seconds down the road with lots of tiny islands to explore, plus 3 major beaches just 15 minutes away along the highway. There is also a store & cafe 5 minutes away, plus the closest town is only 17 minutes along the highway where there are grocery stores, Tim Hortons, museums & festivals, etc. The perfect vacation getaway!!
Centrally located just off the highway between Bridgewater & Liverpool in East Port Medway with lots of places to explore in Nova Scotia for awesome day trips and more!
There are some basic rules: First, you MUST clean up after yourself! There is no waste or garbage disposal, so you must take it with you and leave the property clear of any mess or debris. Second, this is NOT a party spot! NO noise or partiers will be tolerated. Preference is given to mature, quiet couples just looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway out in the country.
A friendly Poodle & owner lives on the property, so you must be respectful to us and others at all times! If you have a dog, then they must be kept on leash or lead while on the property.
