Having now retired as a pro model builder, the clearance of my studio is well under way. This is an extraordinary model boat kit. It was designed and created by a friend of mine in Hong Kong, only a couple of dozen were ever made. It was a passion project and never intended for mass production. The kit is made from 3D printed powdered sintered nylon, the parts are very smooth with a silky finish, unlike filament printed items. It glues and takes paint beautifully. The guns are all lathe turned brass, the masts are similarly made. but of aluminum. There are four sheets of amazing photo etch brass, also black iron ship's chains, a laser cut deck planking set, and of course to finish it off a full set of running gear and motors included too. Also included is an amazing 3D publication by Kagero in Poland on the Varyag, which when used with the prehensive plans, allows the building of a museum quality model. It is not intended for beginners and requires a good degree of skill plete, but when finished... WOW! The price is negotiable, as I'd rather it went to a good home than achieve its true value.
