Muni Quip X band Police Radar. Not a toy, this unit was taken out of service with the OPP, it is fully functional, and will provide accurate target speed in KPH while stationary, or while moving, for targets moving toward, or away from the radar. Includes fitted foam in Samponsite hard case, control/display unit, with instant on, and variable range/output power, power cord,(car lighter type) cable from the control/display unit to the antenna, antenna switch unit, for use with an optional rear antenna, (optional antenna not included) and matched set of tuning forks, to check calibration. Will obtain a lock, and display speed on targets as small as a ball, RC plane or car. Can also be used to determine the accurate speed of the vehicle it is mounted in. Operator is able to set alarm speed threshold, so that the unit will not sound off for any targets below the set speed. Display, can lock, and hold a indicated speed. Will not reliably indicate speed on slow targets under 15KPH. Perfect for testing proper function/range of radar detectors.
