Have you or a family member always wanted to learn how to play the piano? I have limited spaces available for new students of all ages who would like to learn how to play the piano in a warm and ing environment.
I have a B.Mus., B.Mus.Ed. and a M.Ed. from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in both private and group piano lessons. I also have been a music teacher with the NLESD since 2001. As well, I am a certified Yamaha Music Education instructor which includes both private and group lessons of all ages.
Lessons are customized based on the student's learning style and musical interests. Each class will include sight reading, technical exercises, theory and exposure to a broad range of musical styles from classical to contemporary. I can also prepare students for RCM exams of all levels and categories as well as musical festivals such as the Kiwanis music festival.
My private piano studio offers a great atmosphere for learning with a diverse range of technology and educational tools to give each student the best learning experience. Lessons are also offered virtually through Google Meet, Facetime etc… These lessons offer the same quality instruction as in person lessons just in fort of your own environment.
