Located in downtown Charlottetown, Jacqueline offers professional training in an inspiring studio on a beautiful top-of-the-line Yamaha CFX 9 foot concert grand piano. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jacqueline can design the programme best suited to your needs and interests. Lessons are available for all ages and levels in a positive, structured and professional environment. She is a Registered Music Teacher (RMT), a Certified Teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM Advanced Specialist), and an Examiner for the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. In addition to 35 years of private teaching experience, she has also concurrently taught at the UPEI Music Department for 19 years and at Holland College's School of Performing Arts for 2 years. Her students' successes have also garnered her Gold Medal Teacher certificates from the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2014, 2016, 2018 and again in 2023, awarded for having students achieving the highest mark in their level of their piano exam in the four Atlantic Canadian Provinces within a full calendar year. mitment as an educator is to provide students with functional skills and an appreciation of music, and also can include music festival, RCM exam and university audition preparation. Jacqueline has extensive training in the field of piano pedagogy which includes mitment to ongoing annual professional development to keep her teaching fresh and innovative. Whether you desire to e a professional pianist or just play for enjoyment, she will teach you the necessary skills to succeed. Studio space is designed with great acoustics, posh decor and beautiful original artwork on all walls plete the studio experience like none other with total beauty and inspiration. Convenient downtown location. Studio hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 5:00 pm. Jacqueline can also also offer professional advice on helping you purchase the right piano for your level and budget to ensure the best quality instrument for the best price. PLEASE NOTE: New Students are e at this time. A few select day-time spaces are available during business hours before 2:30 pm on select week-days during the current term which ends June 2024. Registrations for summer 2024 and the next academic year (Sept 2024 to June 2025) are also open at this time.
