Grow-cabinet grown Philodendron spiritus sancti. This specimen was originally an import from Thailand. I was nervous that it would die during shipping so I bought two and both survived and put out new growth! So I'm selling this one. These are the rarest Philodendron species in the wild. There are only 6 known wild specimens in the world! It's typically only kept by serious collectors. As the plant matures, the leaves develop dark green colouration with light coloured mid ribs and long lobes / a deep sinus at the top.
Notice: The one leaf has damage on it (pictured) because it wasn't hardened off yet during shipping. I was surprised that the plant successfully hardened off that leaf anyway and continued to grow the next as if nothing happened. I've been growing it in a ikea grow cabinet and I'd suggest you do the same until it's big enough to acclimate to less humidity. It's happily growing in straight sphagnum moss in a net pot. Humidity in the grow cabinet is typically around 80-90% and 20degrees Celcius.
