EASY CARE: Adapts easily to most home conditions, avoid direct sun on the leaves and provide bright light but can grow in dim light. Room temperature works well, best above 55 degrees F; Use loose well-drained soil with high organic matter. Provide regular fertilizing to moist soil during growing season. mendation for summer: a stay outdoors in a shady place is a chance to flush soil and clean the leaves. Keep soil moist, top 1” may go dry to signal watering needed, drain off excess water. High humidity preferred, mist leaves fall and winter every 4 days and in spring and summer every 2 days. This is a hardy plant and bounces back when conditions improve.
TOXICITY: Reported toxic to dogs and cats. Not mended around children as reactions can be from moderate to severe, mostly as an irritant to mouth and skin that causes swelling which can lead to difficult breathing.
