The 1940s and 1950s saw a surge in traditional accordion playing. One of the most popular accordions to emerge from this golden age was crafted by the iconic Italian accordion maker, Paolo Soprani. Paolo Soprani accordions have been deemed as the reigning champion ever since. pany exports accordions worldwide and is one of the world’s oldest, largest and most prestigious accordion manufacturers.
This classic instrument dates to the mid 1960’s and was built in the Italian town of Castaldifardo by the highly respected Paolo Soprani Company; It is a full size professional piano style Paolo Soprani “Italia” 120 bass accordion, which would be ideal for the player who requires the full range of 41 treble keys on a 19'' keyboard, 5 treble registers keys, 120 bass buttons and 1 bass register. It is finished in a very attractive pearl red casework.
It has a nice sound, but hasn’t been played in a while and needs a thorough maintenance service. There is no case and the original strap that goes round the shoulder is missing, but a different type of strap has been attached.
