Vintage (late 1950s - early 1960s) mid-century modern rare matching pair of fine porcelain Christmas figurines. Victorian Lady in red dress with ruffled hem, flowered hat and carrying a muff and a wreath. Santa is waving and sitting on a large decorated white boot as his gift bag. Both with intricate details, colourful, and with spaghetti fur detail and gold paint trim. Santa's bag/boot can hold candy canes. Lady is 4 inches wide x 6 inches high x 2.75 inches deep. Santa is 6 inches wide x 4 inches high x 2.75 inches deep. Perfect condition (no chips or cracks). Only ever displayed in a cabinet. Perfect on your fireplace mantle or Christmas themed dining table display. Harkens back to Victorian old-fashioned Christmases past. Made in Japan. Priced much higher on Etsy plus shipping.
