This Oster Versa Professional Blender is a great value, and has produced results that definitely rival a Vitamix 5200. This is their second iteration of their high powered blender, I had the first model about 5 or 6 years ago, and upgraded to this one, which I've had for about 2 or 3 years now. It has a 7 year warranty, is a high power/speed blender, capable of making smoothies with lots of fibrous (kale) and dense frozen fruits with no problems. I've used it almost every other day for that purpose, as well as soups, and dips like hummus. It makes perfectly smooth smoothies. It's a 1400watt blender.

Everything works as it did when new. It has preset modes (set and walk away), pulse, and variable speed settings, as well as a tamper if you make nut butters or need it for other stuff.
