Optelec ClearView+ 22" Digital Video Magnifier

Assistive device for people with low vision including those with Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, a, or Retinitis Pigmentosa. It magnifies images and text placed on the tray using easily adjustable zoom and different high contrast settings and displays it on the screen. It is designed to be used for both reading such as books or photos, or writing such as letters, cheques, or crosswords. The device also incorporates LED lighting to illuminate the area being viewed. This unit was my mother's and she used it for less than 5 hours in total. She bought it, but then her vision deteriorated very quickly. The unit is essentially brand new and is from a smoke-free single-family detached home in Oakville.
Original price is CA$3295. Selling for $900. Comes with original box and manuals.
