Hello! My name is Leah, and I am in the second year of my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph. I am majoring in Biomedical Science, with a minor in Neuroscience!
I have achieved Honour roll / Dean's list since grade 9, and I have a strong passion for anything STEM related. I have a fair amount of tutoring experience, and I am hoping to get more teaching experience to help with earning my PhD after I am finished my undergraduate degree.
I offer Zoom sessions and in-person tutoring on the Univeristy of Guelph campus at $30/hour. I am free Monday-Friday after 2pm, and anytime after 12pm on weekends. I offer tutoring for CHEM 1050, MBG 2040 and BIOC 2580. I did very well in each of these courses, and my goal is to break down difficult concepts/example problems by explaining them using real-world analogies. I specialize in efficient note-taking and building study plans, which are used to improve study habits and achieve higher grades in less time. I have old notes and study summary sheets that I will provide at no extra cost.
