A Nikon Measurescope in near-mint condition. $2400 or best offer. For the serious user, collector or educator or museum. Has factory options. Complete with both original instructions, factory Nikon cover, factory upgrade stage, and accessories. This set is from a local collector who lent to a museum - museum transport cases included. All optics original and excellent. Difficult to find in this pristine condition. At your request, we can provide a cost to add a 5 MP digital microscope camera and laptop with imaging software allowing images or video to be sent to a PC, laptops, large TV or projector or nearly any classroom or personal media. The set includes: • The Measurescope, near-mint cosmetic and operating condition, shows little-to-no signs of use beyond testing, measures 25 inches tall, heavy at 35 pounds, all three cables and unique connectors are original and in excellent condition, head and base both have matching Serial No 65186, • This Measurescope has the advanced type larger 'Model A2' double dial micrometer stage table upgrade, near-mint, stage weighs 23 pounds, very smooth operation, optic flat glass is mint, Nikon Serial No 24517, • Correct Nikon objective labeled '3X Nikon Lens Made in Japan', correct Nikon eyepiece labeled '10X-A Nikon Lens Made in Japan' original rotatable eyepiece tube with adapter and factory crosshair reticle, all mint condition. This Measurescope can also be used as a regular 160-mm optical tube microscope so we will add a Wild Heerbrugg 15X/17 30-mm diameter eyepiece to this set, • Nikon original variable light ring (for EPI illumination) and original rear lamphouse (for DIA illumination), all near-mint condition with no signs of significant heating. The four 6V bulbs in the light ring and the 6V 10W bulb in the lamphouse are all original and working, and an extra new set of all five bulbs is included, • Museum transport cases are 20 inches wide, rugged made with dual clasps and two lifting handles, great condition with some scuffs on the bottoms, complete with 1980's style metal labels, • Original Nikon cover, in very good condition with no rips, also included is the original tiny round Nikon factory plastic cap that covers the shaft hole when the micrometer is removed, • Original manuals for both the scope and the stage: 'Instructions for Using Nikon Measurescope' (10 pages), and 'Nikon Micrometer Stages Model A2, E2 and O' (4 pages), good condition, and a color hardcopy of both manuals is included, • Tools including magnifier, tweezers, screwdriver, allen key, newer top dial gauge micrometer (works super for Z axis measurements), and three clear reticle containers, Total ship weight is appx 104 pounds. All exterior surfaces have been cleaned with two disinfectants. Will deliver in Regina area, curbside pickup available, tracked shipping available using padded double boxes.
