This trumpet mouthpiece has no dings or scratches. It is similar to a Bach 10-1/2C, a GR 65L and 65LX, a Schilke 12 and 13C4, a Warburton 5MD, and a Yamaha 11C4 and 13C4, according to wedgemouthpiece.com. Please be sure that you are familiar with this experimental Wedge mouthpiece: it is slightly curved on the rim so that pressure is relieved at the edges of your embouchure. This gives you added flexibility and encourages you to use less pressure and thereby increase your endurance.
Unfortunately, my bottom teeth are a little crooked, so I was getting unwanted pressure from the bottom of the mouthpiece. Someone with straighter teeth should not have this problem. I recommend this mouthpiece and will buy another in a different width to work around my teeth.
