One of four Harlem Slim Model resonator guitars made by National Reso-Phonic in 2008. 12 fret wood body, single cone, biscuit bridge; sunburst finish. Fat round neck; 1.8" width at nut. Slightly bigger 'C' shape than other National Reso-Phonic acoustic guitars. Maple top, back, sides, (rather than the walnut used on regular Estralita models) & maple neck with rosewood fret board. Bone nut. Custom painted cover plate & tail piece. National engraved tuning machines. Truss rod cover included but not mounted. Arched top National case with green plush interior custom made for the Harlem Slim Model. Some clear finish lifting along one side of the guitar & at the neck heel, common to Nationals from this time due to the use of an inferior finishing product during the clearcoat stage at the National factory in California. Plays very well with a slide, and/or finger-style (hybrid set-up). Excellent sustain; stays in tune very well. No buzzing, rattles, etc. Bare bones model, very hard to find. Reasonable offers considered.
