Vehicle has 314k on it (its transmission only has 160k!) This model year has a known issue with transmission failures and ONLY 2013 Crosstrek transmissions fit it (which are impossible to find and ridiculously expensive). Fortunately for its new owner, I've already taken care of this and replaced the transmission with (supposedly) the only patible transmission - a 2012 Impreza It runs like new with more pickup than before. The work was done at York Auto in Fredericton (Subaru specialists who have a terrific working relationship with Fox Subaru) and they know the background and work done. Pictured is the wear and tear on the vehicle (some tiny rusted paint chips on the hood) Has studded tires on now (see photo) and a set of all seasons on the same factory rims seen on every Subaru going.
