This is an O Scale model (1:48) by Mikes Train House of Product #20-2185-1, MTH Union Pacific Veranda Turbine Engine and Tender with Proto Sounds. This runs on Lionel type 3 rail track. es with Proto Sounds.
This is used. There are no scratches on the engine or tender. Both appear to be excellent like new. The box shows what looks like water damage. The pickup rollers show some marks, demonstrating that this has been run. One of the knuckle couplers on the engine is damaged and needs replacement. Please see the pictures. I did not test drive the loco. INSTALL A NEW 9 VOLT OR FULLY CHARGED MTH RECHARGABLE BATTERY BEFORE USING OR THE PROTO SOUND BOARD COUND FAIL!!
I found engine and tender listed on EBAY for $1000.
