For sale is a wonderful, robin's egg blue Glazed Paragon Fine Bone China Teacup and Saucer, with ornate, gilt trim, and lush flowers!
This dainty pairing has a delicate elegance, with a lovely, light, mellow blue glaze finish, a colour so popular in the 50's and 60's!
It is beautifully decorated with a rich, abundant, and very intricate, gilding. Lovely bouquets of deftly painted, multi-colored blossoms enhance the set, giving it added formality and charm!
This piece is in very good, vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Only very slight wear to the gold trim, as to be expected with age and gentle use. Both pieces clearly stamped and marked on the bottom sides.
Paragon was noted for producing high quality tea and tableware, and was granted royal warrants of appointment by several members of the British Royal Family!
The pretty pieces have that wonderful, fine bone china 'ping'! Such a classy way to serve your tea or coffee, or, a true, heirloom coupling for display in the collector's china cabinet! An extraordinary, refined teacup and saucer set for thoughtful gift giving!
