W123 300 CD Turbo Diesel Coupe for sale as parts or project car. The car starts and runs but cannot be driven. This is a Bring a trailer project, I will not allow for it to be driven away for safety purposes. Asking 4K OBO for the while lot. Car is located near Apsley, ON.

Plan was to fully restore the car but never got around it. The car last ran about 5 years ago when we drove it up north to the cottage and parked it, some pictures are from then. Everything is there except the rear glass. The car is worth more in coupe specific parts, 8K + Engine/tranny/other shared W123 parts for another 3-4K. The car will need tires, brakes, battery (for sure), etc. to get it on the road. It also has significant amount of rust and will require full body work, floors, panels, etc. When bought the frame was solid and car drove fine, even on the highway last time it was driven. Engine and transmission were all working great at the time and they still do.

Car is being sold as a project car / open to parting it out for fair price. Asking 4K for the whole car. Could be donor car but its worth restoring given low production numbers and fact that fully restored cars go for $30K or more south of the border. (look at BAT or and then make me an offer).

Interesting trades possible but no projects... as you can tell, I don't have the time. Please no silly questions, it needs a ton of work but best is to part it out. Car is located north of Peterborough.

Update: Found the Factory build card, Maintenance records, Owners manual, sales receipt and few other related docs. Prefer to sell with a car, but will now take offers for this separately.
