MEC trailer bike that attaches and detaches easily to / from a hitch on the seat post of an adult bike. When child pedals this helps you both ride; when they stop it's just you. :) I was skeptical of how my own balance would be affected by the trailer, but it is very stable unless your child is really goofing off and sticking way out to one side. I used it with a child weighing up to 65 lbs. The trailer bike folds in half (tool-free) for decent transport options, and I've also found a way to attach it to an exterior bike rack on my car.
