Job Description:Job Description Butcher Duties and Responsibilities: · Cut, bone, trim meat · Ensure product pany standards · Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment- ensure safe equipment handling: guards in place, equipment is in good working condition · Cut and prepare meats pany specification · Prepare cuts of meat to be ready for distribution or to move into the sausage making department. · Learn and develop into a seasoned sausage maker and a superior team member · Maintain and clean the cutting room including equipment to reduce the risk of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines Requirements: · At least 1 year experience · Able to work in cold environment · Able to meet the physical demands of the job including standing for long periods of time, lifting 50lbs · Experience in working as part of a highly skilled team and have willingness to learn Required Education: · High school or equivalent Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work remotelyNo Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits:Casual dressDental careDisability insuranceDiscounted or free foodExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offProfit sharingVision care Schedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsOvertime Supplemental pay types:Overtime pay Ability mute/relocate:Etobicoke, ON: mute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: meat cutting: 1 year (required) Company Description Halenda's is the place to go for quality meats.
