MCM Carstens German Art Pottery Petroglyphs Lamp By Heuckeroth Spectacular mid century modern lamp with a pseudo petroglyphs design. Gerda Heuckeroth designed this pattern about 1960 for Carstens Tonnieshof and it was produced in the 1960’s in a variety of highly desirable range of pieces including this rare lamp. I believe the wood on the top and bottom to be teak but it could also be walnut. There are no condition issues that I can find. No cracks. No chips. I don’t see any scuff marks. As you can see, the lamp is in working condition, but the electrical parts are now dated, about 50 to 60 years old, so all electrical items are sold as is with the buyer accepting all responsibility for its use. Sorry, the shade is not included. The lamp including the wood bottom and top and up to the socket is 21 inches high The pottery section on its own is approximately 12 inches high by 8 ½ inches wide
