Nice pair of Vintage McIntosh XR7 Isoplanar radiator speakers with MQ-101 Equalizer, Made in the USA
Hard to find, Not seen for sale often, Great overall condition, One of the removable / replaceable tops has a small chip in the veneer on one side (see pics)
Working as they should, All original, One owner before me, Original owner had them professionally refoamed about 4 - 5 years ago
Large, Heavy, Powerful sounding speakers, Good at everything, Larger amp mended but you can get away with any vintage 50 wpc if you must, I currently run them on a Sansui 7070 (pictured with them) which is only about 65 wpc and they sound fantastic and go house rattlingly loud
Features : -4-way floor system has two 12" woofers, 8" lower mid, two angled dome upper mids and four angled tweeters -Walnut finish veneer with clear vinyl laminate -Replaceable top and base -Hinged grille -Black grille cloth -Plug-in printed circuit crossover board. Crossover cover at the top front has block diagram plus main and tweeter fuses -Red and yellow indicator lights at bottom right, Red light indicates tweeter fuse blown, Yellow light indicates maximum power level

Comes with the MQ-101 Equalizer, Designed (But not required) to be used with these speakers, Will not sell the EQ or the speakers separately
The EQ can be hooked up through main in / main out (EQ / Preamp) input and outputs if your amplifier or receiver has them or it can be hooked up using a tape monitor input and output, Which also gives the ability to cut the EQ in or out of the signal loop at the push of a button or flip of a switch, Can also be used without the EQ if neither of these options are available, You will simply have to boost the bass a bit on your amp or receiver and adjust anything further to your personal preference
