Hi, I am a Pure Math and Economics graduate from Dalhousie University, I have experience teaching students of all ages from 10 to 30, IB, and AP. I make mathematics fun and engaging, I don’t just help you solve equations, I help you understand them. Mathematics is methodical thus understanding mathematical tools and methods is the key to ing good at it. It's been very difficult for students due to the pandemic and online learning, allow me to help you understand material with ease and make things plicated.
My style of teaching is one passion and empathy, my philosophy is simple, kids have brilliant minds that should be explored through creativity and critical thinking. Repetitiveness does not allow children to e their best selves, therefore I ensure my students practice critical thinking and not just repeat what is being taught.
Elementary and Secondary education is the foundation to creating strong individuals in college/university therefore my job consists of preparing your child for the real world and not just preparing them for tests. My students excel in school because they think critically and are easily able to put the puzzle together. I e my students friend, counsellor and at times guide.
