Maple sap evaporator, wood burning

Maple sap evaporator made out of 55 gallon steel drum, cast iron stove door and legs, lined with 31 fire bricks. Stove has a damper and draft control. Drum opening has been modified to minimize heat loss with a heat shield at the back and a shelf for the pans to sit snugly over 4 feet of 6" stove pipe, plus another 2 feet of exhaust pipe I had Two 24 gauge stainless steel, full size steam trays fits snugly This design is capable of evaporating 4 to 6 gallons of sap per hour, provided you keep your boil going and run it well. This is best for someone with few taps, less than 15 or so. I built in one year ago, looking to upgrade my setup so selling this one.
