Mandatory Entry-Level Training (MELT) for all new Class A - Z Description (Training on Automatic and Manual Transmission) Class’ A’ (Tractor Trailer) applicants plete mandatory entry-level training, complete an air brake endorsement course(class Z), before attempting the Class ‘A’ road test. At Canada Trust Driving School we provide you with plete individual attention you need to successfully progress through your course with the least fort possible; whether it be a regular driving course or a heavy vehicle training program. We guarantee you a great and pleasant time. The success rate at Canada Trust Driving School is high, the staff is cooperative and the teachers are patient. We suggest taking a look at our student testimonials. We are offering training for class A as well as class Z. To get a Class Z license, you have plete a 2-day air brake endorsement course. pletion of the course, you will get a certificate approved by the Ministry. You just need to add the category to your driving license. Price for class Z- $300. Plus HST, but it is free of charge to our customers enrolled Melt Tractor Trailer Program. . Fee for 8 weeks Program: Total: $6,500.00 (includes Air Brake Course, 2 times truck for the road test, unlimited simulator training) Admission Requirements Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Must have an Ontario School Diploma (OSSD), grade 10 English or equivalent, or Wonderlic Basic Skills Test Must hold a valid “G” class license Must obtain medical form signed by a family doctor- fee payable to the doctor Must obtain a classified drivers license learner's permit and prepaid road test – fee payable at MTO
During the program, you get hands-on both an automatic and manual transmission.
