Batteries are in my shop on trickle charger/maintained till boat sells. Note VHF radio set shows both the 12 VDC and shore power distribution switch/circuit breaker panel, which powers all AC onboard systems, from the MarineAIR heat pump to the Charles battery charger built-into the galley cabinet and all 120VAC outlets. This is a professionally installed shore power system. Rare 5000 BTU/hr MarineAir-brand water to air reverse cycle heat pump provides AC and heating functions. Professionally installed AC, not a home-brew bedroom /window unit cobbled into a boat. This boat is in a class of its own you can tow to any lake and launch with a minivan or SUV and you can motor or sail for both types of fun. The MacGregor 26X uses 1100 lbs of easily removed water ballast, quickly drained by gravity using transom valve under power, and fills by siphon/gravity when you wish to sail in stronger winds. Easiest way to learn to sail ever devised. Swing keel, retractable rudders . Closet style bathroom (head) with sink and partment. PORTA-POTTY NOT INCLUDED; you'll probably want to get your own one anyway!! West Marine and other boating and/or stores have good options or you can consider posting toilet now ing popular. Personally, I prefer the Dometic brand of marine portable toilets, such as those offered by West Marine. Nice open roomy galley layout, with movable kitchen table that converts to bed, v-berth, queen size sleeping area in the back, but no cushions for this area since we only use it for storage and place to put the coolers and camping gear. Sleeps up to 4 people, factory story of 6 people is a bit of a stretch, yet theoretically possible! REFURBISHED factory MacGregor trailer INCLUDED, YET NEEDS NEW LIGHTS. I'm providing a set of lights with magnetic mounts that can be used to trailer any reasonable distance. I used these same lights to acquire this trailer 900 km away with no issues. Trailer has new bunk carpeting, bunks are welded steel bunk supports welded on as part of the refurbishment. It's not pretty but will do the job for local towing.
Add ons and upgrades include: -4-stroke outboard motor (under 200 hours approximately), always professionally serviced at Biddle Marine and Woodward Marine Services, St. Williams, ON - battery charger / isolator - all standing and running rigging in decent condition; likely need new polyester lines in a year or two -- not a big expense to renew running rigging - Go ANYWHERE shoal-draft, 9" with centerboard and rudders up; see pix with boat beached and another time in the marsh for afternoon picnic. You cannot do that with any other sailboat!! IT'S AWESOME!! - 1 fuel tank with provision for 2nd auxilliary tank (not included). - Pedestal Binnacle Table w/ higher mainsail vang attachment point. ($400 USD installed ) from Blue Water Yachts. Only sailing it on the genoa sail, main sail only used a handful of times. My wife and I are "lazy sailors" and generally only run the furling genoa for easy of use and keeping cockpit simple whilst we are having our sundowners during our regular sunset sailings. It was mostly used under power, so all the standing rigging is like new. Some items that will need attention: gib UV solar protection strip on furling genoa needs to be restitched yet it doesn't affect the performance of the sail at all (I can send you a video), pressure water pump needs new reservoir such as the clear plastic 5 gallon camping units ($20), cabin curtains UV faded yet still serviceable.
