I had filter on since day one. This is USA/CAN model, USA North America Authorized Dealer Stock. This is the silver brass version with amazing silver finish that is sought after by the Leica user and collector. It has bullt-in lens hood. It has extra large and fast aperture at 1.4 that will melt anything in the backgruond like butter with amazing bokeh. At f1.4, you get total control of the light, DOF, and background objects and is very sharp with legendary Leica bokeh.. This lens will excel at weddings, low lights and portrait and will make your photo differentiate than others. I can't stress how special this lens is. The lens has minimal use and babied mostly indoor.
