This new mill named the Little Ripper, is the only sawmill sold in Canada with the powerhead positioned between the front and rear vertical frame rather than ahead of the frame like that of the other manufactures. This concept is similar to that of a road construction grader where the blade is positioned at the fulcrum in the centre as opposed the the front. Best cut in the business for cabinet makers or wood workers especially with 11/2” blades. Can cut logs up to 20” round a length of 16’ with the extension set. Further lengths can be achieved by adding additional sections. This is not just an entry level saw, its for the hobbyists, professional sawyers, retirees, homesteaders and off gridders. Create a second e for your family or just simply have your own acreage begin to pay for itself. Transport your unit in your boat for water- access only retreats to build your docks, outbuildings, bunkies, outhouses, sheds, etc. Very portable unit pletely in the back of a small pickup or van. Compact, yet capable.
Powerhead foot print is only 2’X4’, you can store in any shed or garage corner and hang the rail bed on a wall like a ladder - convenient to reset up-only minutes. Entire mill can be carried in back of UTV or pulled along simply by ATV or snowmobile to cottage or hunt camp. Powerhead can be carried easily by 2 persons with handles on each side and weighs only 150 lbs. Lubricated blade, unique blade guard and stabilizer, easy blade tensioner, ponents powder coated including log stop and log locks.Powered by either Honda or Briggs and Stratton engines.
