Born in 1945 in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Lise grew up in a landscape where life is good and in which the small details of life take on a very special importance and visual aspect. Very young, she won several petitions.
It was at the age of eleven that she made her first exhibition. She admits at this time that she preferred drawing to studying. After high school, she enrolled at Studio Salette in Montreal pleted mercial drawing course. Her dream at that time was to e a fashion designer. But it is by touching on the different facets of drawing and drawing inspiration from Chardin and Renoir that she will take a liking to oil painting. She will therefore begin her career by devoting herself to oil painting.
Very inspired by the romantic impressionist painters, Lise Auger presents her works on the occasion of several exhibitions, either solo or in groups, throughout Quebec and the Canadian provinces. In addition, you can now admire his paintings in his own Art Gallery in Piedmont, in the Laurentians, as well as at the Galerie d'Art du Château, at the Château Frontenac in Quebec, occasionally at the Galerie d'Art Michel-Ange. in Montreal and since December 2008, in France in a group exhibition.
