Hi, I am an educated level 3 Early Childhood Educator. I have been running a successful family day home for 10 years and plan to do it for many more. I am with an licensed agency.
I am currently only taking children over 2 years old.
Hello Parents,
The day home is situated in SE Edmonton 5 min from the Whitemud (coming from Sherwood Park), Grey Nuns Hospital or from Anthony Henday in the safe, quiet family neighborhood of Silverberry (with a beautiful playground minutes away). Close neighbourhoods- Laurel, Jackson heights, Wild Rose, Burnewood, Meadows, Tamarack, Millwoods, and Ridgewood.
Listed are just a few things which I am dedicated to providing for your child:
- Maximum 6 children in care -Minimal toys out at once as they are all sanitized daily -Nutritious and Home cooked meals and snacks are provided -Large fenced back yard with sand box, swing set, play house and ride on toys; park close by -Preschool curriculum – fun and developmental daily activities planned (indoor/outdoor) -Christian Values -Monthly field trip/weekly trips to the library/play group -Daily exposure to reading(with over 900 books), rhymes, creative and dramatic play, letters, numbers, songs, puzzles, games, crafts, exercise, and more (with weekly learning themes) -Large play room with lots of toys -Smoke, scent & pet free environment
And for the parents:
-Hours-Mon- Fri- 7:00am-5:00pm -Experience with children ages 0-12 years -Subsidy available -Accredited Agency -Police Clearance -Child Intervention -Child Care First aid/CPR level B -Educated Professional with a Early Learning and Child Care Diploma
Rates per month Fees
1-79 hours $10/hr 80- 119 hours $680 120-169 hours $880 170-199hours $930 Over 200 hours $980
The Agency fee is also $120 per month. The rates are based on the number of hours your child is in my care per month. The 2nd child’s agency fee rate is reduced by $55 per month over 80 hours a month. SUBSIDY is available ( + $120 per month-agency fee).
