LARGE PURE WOOL BLANKET

Early’s Witney Point brand blanket in very good condition. Large 5 point size. Approximately 96” by 82”. Very similar to Hudson’s Bay blankets. Early's of Witney was founded in 1669 and were one of the very first wool trade blanket makers. Before Pendleton and Hudson Bay, Early's were supposedly the first blankets brought over to the Hudson Bay to be traded with the Native American's. In fact, Hudson Bay brand blankets were at one time made by Early's of Witney. Early's is no longer in business, so these blankets are getting hard to find.
