Selling my Jacuzzi J-495 hot tub. I find that it hasn't been used much in the last roughly 4 years so It's time for me to list it and move on. I believe I bought it in November 2013. I can also offer delivery and hookup if you need as well.
It's classified as a 8-10 person tub. It is the larger of the hot tubs that Jacuzzi makes (regular model is the J-485).
The sound of the waterfall in the raised back wall is my favourite part. Which you could also sit under for a light massage.
Comes with a lid that is in good shape, no tears. Lid has a hydraulic lift assist to make opening it easy for even kids. Has a built in stereo system. Comes with a remote to control everything in tub, including the jets, lights, stereo, etc.
All the jets and pumps work great. Lights work great. Comes with 2 sets of filters and enough chemicals for a couple months. Has only been sanitized with Bromine, not Chlorine.
The tub is in very good shape. There are a couple minor items to note: - 1 of the handles to lift the lid has detached on one side last year - The tub is built in to my deck. Because of this I had to relocate the stereo and extend the wires. May need a new wiring harness. If it does, I will supply this when I reinstall the stereo - I believe the stereo works. I haven't used it in a long time. Turned on the FM part and can hear static so I'm assuming it works
Unless you have a lot of friends to help lift it out (because it's built in to the deck) it would be a good idea to have a picker truck there to lift it onto a trailer. I can assist with organizing this if need be. I used this to get it into place initially and the cost for it was about $350. But well worth it as it's approximately 1100 pounds dry weight.
