** PRICE IS PER WEEKEND. Availability in September and October. Fishing, swimming, smores, fireplace songs! All this and more at Thistle Cottage in the Haliburton Highlands (MInden Hills). Situated on 9 private acres with 400ft frontage on Otter Lake. 4 bed, 2 bath cottage w/fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher!). Open concept LR/dining/kitchen area. Primary bedroom w/view of the lake and access onto the deck, has queen bed and ensuite. 2 more double bedrooms and family bathroom on main level. Satellite TV with Bell and internet. Basement has laundry, extra bedroom w/dbl bed, rec. room and walkout to access boardwalk; steps down to the lake. Note** there is an incline down to the lake, so it is uphill on return to the cottage...may not suit elderly, or mobility challenged individuals. Cottage has large deck running the width of the cottage, overlooking Otter lake. Plenty of seating for viewing the amazing sunsets over the lake! BBQ on deck. Firepit at the rear of the cottage. Lake is landlocked and you cannot launch your own boat. We provide a 12ft. aluminum boat, w/electric motor; 2 person kayak and 2 person paddle boat for guest use. One dog only preferred, no cats. Deposit of 50% plus security deposit (350) is required upon booking. Balance is due 3 weeks prior to occupancy. Terms and conditions will be on the booking form. Any questions, please contact.
