Impressive Grandfather clock

This is a beautiful "Mountain" grandfather clock. It seems to be solid cherry. The structure/frame is great and impressive. It has a mechanical movement, the brass weights are only ornamental. It doesn't chime melodies, just a gong at the half hour and several at the hour according to the actual time. It will keep very accurate time for 3 weeks at which time it has to be fully wound for another 3 weeks. The only problems are: 1) It doesn't have a silent option. If you don't want to hear the gongs, don't wind it for the sound, just for the time. 2) It is quite tall (87" high, 24" wide, 11" deep) so it would look much nicer if your home has a place with high ceilings. When we had it in our living room it looked splendid. Once it is well level after installation it will keep going without any issues. I had reduced the price because I was interested in another clock...that unfortunately just was sold. If you live in the Kingston area, I will be happy to help you install it, but I don't have means to deliver it.
