For Sale: Pair of speakers, modified Image Reference 1 made by Audio Products International in 1989. Purchased new, no manual or boxes. Height 24 inches, Height on stand 40 inches, Width 10.5 inches, Depth 11.75 inches with grill on. Started modifying in 1992 with new crossovers(not sure the brand), new tweeters Vifa D25AG35 and replaced connectors on the back for speaker cables from a pair to optional bi wire connecting. In 2010 replaced woofers (surrounds dried out) with Goldwood GW-8PC-30-8. 100 Watts at 8ohm. Speaker boxes in really good shape no broken corners or scratches. One grill got knocked off once and broke. The speaker cloth hides the injury. Speaker stands built out of oak , natural color. $400.00 for the pair.
