Housekeeping Attendant

Super 8 By Wyndham Winnipeg East is seeking a motivated, experienced, organized, and dependable individuals to fill the Housekeeping Attendant position. The perfect position for parents with children in school. Housekeeping hours are from 9am – 3 pm (average).
The candidate(s) must have a cheerful outlook, be punctual, and hold a valid class 5 license. There is no close public transportation. You will need to be able to work in a busy work environment and multitask.
Our preferred candidate(s) will be able to manage their time effectively, execute all assigned tasks to the highest quality, and have munication and people skills.
Responsibilities • Provide exceptional customer service • Work in a demanding environment with tight deadlines • Dusting, making, and changing beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, window cleaning, garbage and recycling disposal, replenishing guest amenities • Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties • Be knowledgeable and follow emergency and safety procedures
Skills Required • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset • Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail • Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and driven to meet objectives • Positive and friendly attitude; capable of remaining calm and working effectively under pressure • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment; maintain a safe working environment • Ability to work independently or as part of a team; able to work various shifts including weekends • Clear and munication skills • Understand, adhere to, and enforce Corporate Policies and Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures, and Health and Safety Standards for all participants, guests, and staff
