Designed as a blend between fat bike and mountain bike. Mukluk provides floatation in soft conditions like snow and sand, but also incredible traction and stability for singletrack dirt trail conditions. Geometry provides generous standover clearance facilitating dabbing, restarts, dismounts and re-mounts. Alternator dropouts facilitate adjustable geometry for optimal handling for the given terrain.
Features:
- Mukluk geometry: Designed as a blend between fat bike and mountain bike.
- 6066 Aluminum tubeset: Top-shelf, double-butted, heat-treated 6066 aluminum tubing optimized for strength and weight. Excellent corrosion resistance
- Versatile patibility: Designed around Salsas 51mm-offset Bearpaw and Makwa fork models. Mukluk is also patible with RockShox Bluto suspension fork set at 100mm travel.
- Adjustable ride characteristics: Using the Alternator dropouts, geared riders can fine-tune the ride characteristics of their bike by adjusting chainstay length and overall wheelbase to be quick and nimble, or longer and more stable.
- Shaped chainstays & seatstays: Provide maximum heel clearance in winter boots
