another similar Lotus lamp is listed but, a little smaller & slightly different from this one
• age approx.: 1940-1960ish • handmade • bottom stamped: made in Hong Kong • three fabulous snail shell legs - suggest adding a few felt pad on the bottom for more sturdiness
• malleable blossom petals if one wishes to bloom open a little – do so with care though • untouched original aged darkened charming patina – polishing of brass plating is up to the end user - some Verde / age spots / small areas of plating loss
• large 20”L Lotus pod x approx. 3”Diameter embellished with a single snail shell - very small rear dent on smaller of the pods (possibly, original occurrence in hand sculpting?) – please, contact for additional photos
• unknown if original wiring - working condition – mend updating wiring - single wide base bulb – try it with an Edison design bulb! or an Edison style candelabra bulb - no on / off switch - cord measures approx.: 4’L
• shade not included – would be stunning with a black lamp shade • normal age appropriate scuffs - please, contact for additional photos • lotus leaves are a little loose (one can direct them to the desired angle) - a little glue should do the trick … or leave a is – up to the end user - main flower stem has some curves to it – possibly, original occurrence in hand sculpting?
• measures approx.: 20”H (to the top of the socket) x 20”W (from Lotus pod tip to tip) x 7”Deep – this lamp is lightweight
