IT IS TOUCH SENSITIVE AND ABLE TO AUTO LOCK ONTO STATION AFTER THE HAND IS REMOVED FROM THE SELECTOR WHEEL.THE DIAL NEEDLE HAS A BRIGHT RED MINIATURE LED SHOWING WHEN THE QUARTZ LOCK IS COMPLETED. THIS IS THE LAST GREAT ANALOGUE TUNER MADE BY HITACHI BEFORE THE WHOLE WORLD WENT TO LOW BUDGET ,NO SO BEAUTIFUL,BLACK BOX ,VARACTOR TUNED LESS SELECTIVE UNITS.
