The build quality is exemplary and it sounds beyond amazing; hearing is believing. Late production all-silver face version, with all factory service bulletins already applied (those are important for low noise floor and overall stability); Serial number: 980-0767.

Serviced and refurbished 12/2022 (a total of 5 hours plus parts, do the math at pro repair shop rates):

* Taken apart, cleaned and detailed in and out; * Pilot lamp replaced with new; * All controls (except those silicone loaded) deoxed/lubed using pro grade D100/F5/G5 ($126/3 cans), move smoothly, are noise-free; * All electrical contacts throughout the amp treated with Stabilant-22 (used by avionics industry and NASA), for best conductivity and permanent protection; * All-new genuine (sourced from Mouser) Nippon Chemi-con SMQ and Nichicon VZ (for power supply) and Nichicon KW and Panasonic FM/FC (for signal path) capacitors, professionally installed Do not buy caps from eBay or local brick-and-mortar electronics store (as they source parts mostly from China), you will be sorry. * All solder joints inspected under 8X magnification and re-flowed with fresh solder, as needed; * Reassembled, burnt in and fully tested;

All electronic parts except new electrolytic capacitors and new lamp are original; never blown, no repairs. The difference before and after restoration is earth and sky; now the clarity is amazing, zero muddiness, the preamp sounds much faster and more life-like. Every small detail in source signal can be heard right away.
