Are you a parent looking for a teacher for your child? I love children, have an easy rapport with them and love helping to ignite a love of learning music.
Are you a teen or adult looking to start playing or improve your skills? I will help you learn to play your favourite music! Do you want to learn to improvise and write your own songs? We can do that too.
Are you a senior looking for a new hobby or to finally unleash your inner rock star? It is NEVER too late to start learning. The science of neuroplasticity has proven that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Learning an instrument will, in fact, keep your brain healthier. One of my students has been playing for a year and a half after being gifted with a guitar for his 75th birthday and he's currently working on his soloing skills!
I absolutely love teaching and it is always exciting for me to help others develop their skills and passion for playing music.
Learn your favourite music in an engaging and relaxed way. Above all, learning music should be fun and stress-free! I have teaching for almost 20 years and have played, toured and recorded with multiple bands. I have also been teaching guitar and ukulele at Ridley College for the last 8 years.
It is my responsibility as a white person to do antiracism work. It's my goal to not cause unintentional harm and create a space that is as safe as possible for all identities.
