Flo-Gate. Is a simple durable solution for managing the movement of grain or fertilizer from hopper bottomed bins. Flo-Gate slides onto the bin frame. Initially I made it to fix the problem of grain screenings that hung up or bridged in the bin. With Flo-Gate the bin’s slide can be opened further, allowing the product to e the bridging problem. The product can now flow down into the auger’s hopper. The auger takes what it needs. This allows for faster augering. The operator no longer needs to constantly adjust the bins slide. All bulk products exiting from a hopper bin have some surging that occurs. Flo-Gate allows the operator to open the bin’s slide wider, eliminating the surging. Another thing - the auger or conveyor can be shut off and the flow stops. An adjustable sock is included.
