Good Dog Urgently in Need of Good Home
Description : 13 Apr, 2023
Healthy 3 and 1/2 YO neutered male Great Dane cross. He is a large dog, approximately 120lbs. His original owner died and he has been living with me on a small hobby farm since. While he has done well loose with my chickens, mini goats, etc., he has taken the occasional swipe at the barn cats and so I think he would do best in a home with no cats. He is an excellent house dog, very clean, not destructive, no stealing of food off tables/counters etc. No food aggression He is a cuddler and would love a person he could sit on the couch with and watch TV (though he is not allowed on furniture at my place--so knows to stay off if wanted). Generally a lower energy dog, but loves to play and is very treat motivated. Gets along well with dogs he knows (my dog and my neighbors' dogs), but has shown occasional aggression towards new dogs. This may be due to being fairly isolated at my place as he used to live in the city and did well meeting new dogs then.
