Gibson SG Systems 410 by CMI with Maestro Phase Shifter Up for Sale is a Early 1970's SG-410 Tube Amp Combo! Gibson Maestro Phase Shifter! Made In USA! Talk about a cool conversation piece for you collection ! This is really cool. You are looking at a Made In USA Vintage early 1970's SG-410 Tube Combo Amp. SG Amps were a conglomeration of Standel Amps and Gibson Guitar which was owned by CMI (Chicago Music Instruments). The SG line was produced for a very limited time ! Rare. 100 Watt, 2-Channel Amp. One clean and one with effects, each with two inputs (Hi and Lo impedance). Channel two includes a built-in Maestro (PS-1) Phase Shifter with 3 speeds, reverb, "wave form" (Maestro sine “fuzz”) distortion, and a “Notch Shift" feature that simulates an EQ with 4 presets. Both channels include separate oversized and easy-to-read volume, bass and treble controls. The effects channel adds Midrange (tone) and Accent controls, the latter being similar to an attack or presence control. A master volume knob controls the mix of both channels. The open-back cabinet is covered in lightly-grained black tolex and the edges are clad in aluminum angle stock with metal corner protectors giving the cabinets the look of an Anvil road case. The grille cloth is black with a brushed silver border and the speakers have chrome voice coils. Original 10" Thomas Organ Alnico Speakers. Very 1970's Sounding. Gets very LOUD! Has that '70s Arena Rock Sound!. The 4-10" speakers give it that very smooth kind of sound that is still kind of gritty but what is really cool is when you punch up the Gibson Phase Shifter. Think Hendrix. This built in unit can get all kinds of Pink Floyd type of sounds. It has the Notch, Shift with the adjustment knobs that you can alter the mid and accent with the 3-button slow, medium or fast on the phase shifter. Built like a Tank! This Amp will live Forever. Very cool Industrial Looking. Has that "Mad Scientist" kind of retro vibe.
