We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to join a team in the Manufacturing sector located in Mississauga.

Duration: 6 Months contract to start, potential to extend or turn permanent based on performance.

Responsibilities
In this General Accountant role in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and all invoicing pliance pany policies
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
- plex journal entries and account reconciliations
- Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
- Perform month-end close, and journal entries, with minimum supervision
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this General Accountant role located in Mississauga:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience across all aspects of the function
- A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
- Experience working with large ERP is an asset, such as SAP.
- Experience working in manufacturing is a must.
- Experience managing employees is an asset.
