Garnet 5W Tube Amp, mid-sixties

This is a “Stencil Amp” - one of many that were made by Garnet Canada and sold under various brands circa 60 years ago. This one, although in great original condition, is missing the name plate, but I believe it is a “Grenada”. Works great; sounds great. 8” speaker, and lightweight. HOWEVER - fair warning: these were nicknamed “widowmakers” because they pose a danger of electrocution if the rectifier tube fails. To make it a safe instrument a tech would need to add a transformer and 3-prong cord-with-ground. Asking $170.
