Our naturally harvested Turkey Tail mushrooms are 100% organic, wild-foraged and dehydrated . Our Turkey Tail Mushroom (Trametes Versicolor) are picked in the flood plain of the Saint John river valley where powerful nutrients flood the soil each year. This is in New Brunswick Canada during the spring of 2020. All Turkey Tail parts were harvested by me from mature mushroom fruiting bodies and are of the highest quality. Dehydrated mushrooms have been stored since harvesting in air-tight mason jars with desiccation packs for optimum freshness and shelf-life.
Medicinal Health Benefits:
The fruiting body of Trametes Virsicolor Mushrooms contains various triterpenes and polysaccharides with immunomodulating properties for overall Immune System support and regulation. Unlike many other medicinal mushrooms, Turkey Tails contain two unique beta-glucans; PSK (Polysaccaride Krestin) and PSP (Polysaccharide Peptide). PSK is known for its anti-cancer properties and along with PSP, they have the ability to regenerate white blood cells (required to fight infection) and simultaneously stimulate the activity and creation of T-cells, macrophages, and Natural Killer cells enabling the Immune System to eliminate pathogens. When used bination with chemotherapy to fight cancer, Turkey Tail extracts help protect and improve the bodies natural defences which are normally suppressed by the treatment.
