Hi everybody, My name is Slim Essid and I am an experienced French Teacher that has more than 3000 hours of teaching experience. I am a French native speaker as I studied in the French education system since a young age (started at 4 years old).
Using my experience and French background, I train Government employees for their French exams (Oral and Written) and have a 96% success rate. I also teach kids (10 years old or more) and Adults (University, Directors, Managers).
My main methodology focuses on mixing fun with practice. Grammar is an important part of the training but is not the backbone of it. So many times, I have seen people learn languages without opening a grammar book and that is for one reason only: Being exposed to the language as much as possible. From personal experience, practicing and exposing yourself to French is what makes you learn more quickly. Grammar is a tool but it is not everything. Whenever possible, I focus on your hobbies and your interests and use French to make you learn quicker, faster and more efficiently.
The main point of the methodology I use is ADAPTATION. Every learner has a way of learning and I always try to ADAPT my teaching method to the person. This makes things easier for both sides. I also like to have feedback every now and then and change things according to how the learning is going. I believe that the learning process goes both ways, so be certain that I am flexible, open and will assist you every step of the way!
