Framed Vintage Map “First Canadian Army Europe 1944-1945”
This historical original glass framed map of Europe shows the advance of the First Canadian Army together with all allied forces from June of 1944 to January of 1945. It depicts the Canadian forces together with armoured divisions from the United States, Belgium, Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Poland.
This framed picture was presented to the Canadian Minister of National Defence, the Honourable Brooke Claxton, DCM.
The picture has had some moisture damage and hence the reduced price. It measures 25.5 inches wide and 20.5 inches high. It was professionally framed by Frank Jarman Ltd, Fine art Dealers from Ottawa, Ontario.
